He used to spend his lazy afternoons when he wasn't helping his parents out at the docks, studying the different designs people used for their blasters, engines, and wings. Keeping track of his findings in a handy pocket sized notebook, Kikai decided to start small in his shipbuilding quest. Going through the miscellaneous junk in Cid's shop, he pulled out any machinery that was useless and broken and started to tinker with it. Proving his advance skills in fixing whatever he touched, Cid offered him a job to work at the shop when Kikai was in his early teen years. From then on, Kikai has made earnings from helping fix broken things. However, instead of sending his money home, all his earnings were used to fund his true dream: his own Gummi Ship, the Alpha Apollo.

Name: Raiz

Age:25

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Spoiler:

Personality: Raiz is a troubled, brooding soul, burdened by the heavy weight upon his shoulders. Very rarely will he show any positive emotions beyond pleasure at a completed mission. When filled with the power of the moon, his disposition changes. All of the negative emotions he tends to keep in check are unleashed in a frightening fury. Hatred, jealousy, pity, sorrow, all form a powerful berserker rage.

Keyblade/Weapon(s):

Magic: Like Saïx, Raiz's element is that of the moon, specifically Kingdom Hearts itself. As Kingdom Hearts grows, so too does Raiz's power.

Backstory: Raiz is the son of a princess of heart and an average joe from Twilight Town. Due to his mother's disposition, Raiz was also intrinsically connected to Kingdom Hearts. For reasons unknown to Raiz, his parents were cast away from him and into the Realm of Darkness, never to be seen again. With nothing to his name but the strength of his heart, Raiz used his father's gummi ship to travel the worlds and study the mysteries of the universe. Along the way he met Elsa, prior to her transformation into Selax. When she succumbed to darkness, he knew just where to find her, and made her into his underling. While he doesn't know why Selax lost her memory, he has no intention of helping her get it back before achieving his own goals. With the help of Selax the Nobody and Phoenix the Mysterious Talking Heartless, as well as the rest of his organization, he plans to reform the true Kingdom Hearts, but not to brave the Realm of Darkness and save his parents. Rather, he plans to use the true Kingdom Hearts to unseparate all worlds, and create one giant megaworld, just as things were before. No more Realm of Darkness, no more traveling, everyone will be together and share the light equally, and he can finally see his parents again without fear of losing them ever again. He knows the keyblade wielders won't understand. But his goal is a noble one, and nothing will stop him.

Name: Eureka
Age: ???
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Eureka:

Personality: Normal doglike behavior at most times. At rare occasions can be seen almost in thought or deep contemplation. Seems to always take an interest in people at moments they need some good luck the most.
Keyblade/Weapon(s): ???
Magic: Luck
It's hard to describe how it works... just when Eureka crosses your path just imagine the best kind of outcome that could possibly happen for your situation.
Backstory: One day Eureka's owner was walking enjoying the pleasant day with his dog when the unthinkable happened. As if by a glitch in a program or a skip on a disc he and Eureka went from walking to falling... finally landing in a strange new world... a tiny world composed of grass and a single dead tree whose branches formed a trident pointing upwards. Eureka landed with a painful thud, while his owner was left unconscious. In an attempt to find help for his master Eureka discovered he could travel in a complete circle around this tiny planet in a matter of a few feet before returning to the tree. The world was tiny, uninhabited and seemed surrounded by nothing but black space with nowhere to go. So Eureka searched, dug, clawed and howled hoping for some sort of luck to help his owner.

Finally he found hope... after clawing at the tree something fell to the ground. Eureka assumed it was a branch but it was odd in Eureka's mouth. It seemed soft but firm and seemed to have a bend in it that flailed a bit. Attached at the end was what seemed like an old metal object that wouldn't fall off no matter how much he shook it. Picking up this special branch in his mouth caused something to happen... a window appeared before him... showing Eureka scenes of beautiful oceans. Another window appeared showing him scenes of dense jungle. Then another window and another, showing different scene after scene from castles to deserts and much more. Excited he jumped back to his owner gleeful at his discovery. He nudged his owner but there was no response... Eureka kept at it for over an hour before finally curling up next to his dead owner and going to sleep.

Eureka awoke in a strange place. He saw a manor, quite grand and magnificent. Behind it he saw a cemetery filled with tombstones and mausoleums, standing next to these monuments seemed to be people, but they were ghostly blue and transparent. Finally after walking what seemed like hours Eureka found a special stone, it looked no different from the others but called to him. Standing next to it was his owner... but he looked transparent and ghostly like the others. Eureka bounced and hopped in excitement and his owner did the same as the two embraced and Eureka had his head scratched just the way he liked it. The moment lasted what seemed like forever until finally Eureka laid down to sleep. When he awoke he found himself asleep on a tombstone in morning light. The manor still lurking over the cemetery.

From then on Eureka has used his special branch as a way to travel to various worlds from the world with the one dead tree. Yet he spends most of his nights visiting his owners grave in the world Eureka calls... "The Happy Place." Although Eureka has noticed now that things seem to alway improve for people around him. So most days he likes to just travel and see what sad soul seems to need some good luck brought their way.
Starting World: ???
Other Notes: Eureka is free to be used by anyone at any time they want their character to do something that requires lots of luck. Have fun with Eureka and I'll post every now and then to keep him busy.

Organization Members:

Name: Uxolis #3
Age: 17
Gender: M
Appearance:
Spoiler:
Weapon:
Spoiler:
Magic: Buffs/Debuffs
His real name is Louis

Uxolis is a carefree, laid back individual. Although he might not look and act serious, he listens to every single order that Selax and Raiz gives him. The other other nobodies, however, are lower than him on the hierarchy system, so he won't always cooperate with them, preferring to delegate his own orders. However, whenever he deviates from their decision, he always has an intelligent strategy as to why.
Louis used to be a student studying at one of Twilight Town's elite universities. He was very unhappy because he read so much about other worlds and their rules, but was unable to visit them because he was ysteriously denied for study abroad. He fell into depression once all his friends left for the program. He heard voices in the shadows calling for him to use his knowledge for a greater purpose. Eventually, he succumbed to the darkness and became Uxolis.

Name: Noxr #6
Age: 21
Gender: M
Appearance:
Spoiler:

Magic: Time Magic
His real name is Ron

Noxr rarely shows emotions, but when he does he is always serious about it. He's careful about who he talks to and usually speaks in simple, short sentences.
When Noxr used to be Ron, he was a fortune teller. He used to help people with their problems and try to resolve family conflicts. He specialized in not only being able to contact spirits, but also the darkness. Ron would talk to the darkness whenever he was feeling down, and eventually he was asked to join. His hear being fragile, he willing gave up and joined the dark side. Sometimes he will contact the spirits from the various Disney realms, but only for the organization's gain.

Name: Ixlenea
Real Name: Elaine
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Ixlenea:
Personality: Ixelnea shows distaste to anyone who doesn't appreciate her music. She twists her words as easily as a tune to manipulate those around her to do her bidding. Since she specializes in Healing magic, she uses her charms to gather those stronger around her to complete the heavy lifting tasks. She is obsessed with pleasing Raiz with her entire soul and will go to any lengths to see his dream through to the end.
History: Before being corrupted by the Darkness, Ixlenea was none other than the famous composer Elaine from the ever changing world of Fantasia. Her music had magic woven into it from generations upon generations of composers from her world. However, a world of magic and music was no match to the Darkness and easily succumbed to it. Elaine fell to the Darkness as well as she could not combat it's power. Due to her talents, Raiz picked her out of the crowd to become one of the 13 Organization members. With a lost memory except for her love of music, Ixlenea twists her melancholic tunes to aid the Organization in any way she can.
Weapon(s): Conductor's Wand (Magic based)
Conductor's Wand:
Magic: Healing
Organization Number: #4

Name: Aurliex #5

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Spoiler:

Weapon:
Spoiler:

Magic: Glass (I'm taking some liberty here, just say it's an offshoot of earth magic)

Backstory: Laurie was just your average teenager growing up on Destiny Islands. She liked gossiping with friends, going on dates, buying new clothes. She did her homework and kept her promises, everyone liked her. At least, until the Heartless attacked. One by one she watched her friends, her coworkers, her family join the ranks of the Heartless. What was once her boyfriend batted her into a window. She closed her eyes in fear as her body shattered the glass and she flew through air. She firmly gripped a glass shard that landed in her hand. She felt her body slip away and her heart slowly get eaten away by the darkness inside, and just as she was about to make impact, she opened her eyes. She wasn't falling anymore, but lying on her back in a soft grass patch, right by a mansion in a sunset lit town. She was alive, but something felt.. off. She felt the fear inside of her slowly slip away to be replaced with.. nothing. She could remember what it was like to fear, she could conjure up a pit in the stomach, but it was just a hollow imitation. She looked down at the glass which was now cutting into her hand, a last remnant of her life as a teen. A man dressed in black approached her and gave her a new name, Aurliex. With no purpose now and nothing to live for, Aurliex joined Raiz's new organization.

---

Name: Yaxar #7

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Spoiler:

Weapon: He fights with his entire body

Magic: Gravity

Backstory: Raay was a proud resident of Radiant Garden, back before it was twisted into Hollow Bastion. He loved a good fight, and worked out every muscle in his body as much as he could every day. Hard work, determination and discipline was his creed. Serving as a member of the town guard, he was eventually selected by the scientists working in the castle to undergo experiments. They wanted to create a living weapon to use in case the Heartless or others ever attacked, as was currently happening to other worlds. Despite his protests, they strapped Raay down to a table and painstakingly grafted metal and other enhancements onto his entire body. Just before the scientists completed the procedure to lower his brain activity to essentially make him into a slave, he gave into the darkness in his heart. Amid the rage and the fear was a small glimmer of hope that his will would be strong enough to turn into a Nobody and that his true body would be returned to him, untwisted by this unethical science. One moment he was screaming on a table, the next he was in a city of neon. He looked down at his hands, and the cybernetic enhancements still coated him. His body was one with the machine now. He expected to feel disappointment, or anger, or anything, but he felt nothing. He had no purpose now. Until Raiz came along, and gave him a new purpose: be reborn as Yaxar, and be a living weapon.

The Org Member who took Rapunzel who is of course my Org Member
Name: Izexita, the 8th
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: With what emotions he last held, Izexita has a disdain for the orderly paladins to society. He drives said emotions in pragmatically working to undo said order. However his outward appearance is more jovial and somewhat like a stereotypical Prince Charming, for lack of a better term. However, this easily juxtaposes with his true nature. However, he is known for having rather solid pipes and sings rather heavenly.
Weapon:
Magic: Electricity. Probably more the idea of sound in terms of strength cause I could see him using it more in the effect of singing.
Backstory: Originating as a common born becoming a knight amongst the round in the World of the Sword in the Stone, Iteza was a strange individual. However, he was as loyal to King Arthur as every other knight. However, he was given a lower standard amongst his fellow knights, despite his hard working. However, all alone, Iteza fell against heartless. With anger and wishing for to be accepted by his knights, he awoke and was given a cloak with a new name and as Number Eight of the Organization. He later found himself taking the princess of the kingdom he once served and quite possibly created a Keyblade Wielder who can become his undoing.
Starting World: The World That Never Was
Original name: Iteza

Kingdom Hearts: Reflections Empty
PostSubject: Re: Kingdom Hearts: Reflections   Kingdom Hearts: Reflections Icon_minitimeMon Dec 02, 2019 5:52 pm

Rin
Rin yawned as she looked up at the sky. It's too hot. Today on Destiny Islands, the weather is 95 degrees, no chance of rain.

"Hey Rin!" Jillian said, running up to her. "Wanna play volleyball?"

"No thanks. I think I'm done for the day."

"Well, I don't blame you, just don't get a sunburn by laying out on the beach all day."

"I won't."

She sighed. Today was just horrible, but at least she would have a chance to read another story. She was reading a book about a princess with really long hair who lived in an enchanted tower. She never knew anyone with hair like this, healing powers and all. She had to know what happened next after the witch locked her up.

Selax
Selax stretched. Today was awful! Not only has the organization been failing terribly at capturing the princesses, the only one they had was Rapunzel. She didn't want to tell the boss that her mission ended in failure again. There had to be a way to sugar coat this.

"You know, we could always try a different strategy next time," Phoenix suggested. "I don't think attacking the main city was a good idea."

"I know, I know," Selax huffed. "But I don't know what we should tell Raiz."

"The truth that the beast's castle is protected by smart furniture and we failed to capture Belle because she wasn't even there?"

"Ahh, I can't say it like that! It will make me look stupid, and as #2, I need to make sure I'm always on Raiz's good list."

"Okay. Well why don't you just tell him about the good stuff we sent to Traverse town?"

"Brilliant idea! That world will be infested with heartless soon. I cannot wait!" She said with a dance. When she turned around, she noticed Raiz was walking nearby. Selax decided to approach him.

"Ah, if it isn't Raiz!" She could feel her heart pounding her chest as soon as his eyes met hers.

Raiz
Raiz stood at the tallest balcony in The World That Never Was. He enjoyed this spot, he could see everything from here. Both his Organization members below him, and the forming Kingdom Hearts above him. To think that this was only one of his many plans that he had in store. As Kingdom Hearts continued to take shape, he thought of the underlings, and how their new dispositions as Nobodies left them without a heart, and how they all desperately seemed to want one back.

Raiz sighed heavily. Perhaps they are better off without hearts. he thought. Hearts were a burden, and no amount of happiness could ever compare to the sadness, guilt and hatred that planted its seed in every heart. He felt as if, despite being the only one with an actual heart, he was the most heartless of them all.

After all, he had lied to and manipulated almost every single one of them, knowing full well the gravity of his actions. Even his second in command, Selax, remained blissfully unaware of her past with Raiz, and he intended to keep it that way for the time being. His way of ensuring their loyalty is by promising each of them something in return for their service, even if he knew there was no way he could repay that debt. There were many times he wished he would've stopped himself, he wished he could've taken it all back and struck out on this journey on his own, but.... what's done is done.

He stepped away from his balcony and slowly descended the steps. The least he could do for these poor souls is fraternize. While their relationships were built on lies, he was finding himself beginning to care about his members. Not that he would ever tell them that. Interrupting his thoughts, a familiar voice rung out and called his attention.

"Ah, if it isn't Raiz!" shouted Selax.

Raiz stopped in his tracks and briefly looked Selax in the eyes. If there was one thing he valued, it was loyalty, and Selax was in no short supply of that. Raiz could clearly tell that she wished to please him, perhaps only for him to keep his promise of helping her regain her memory. He couldn't reveal that right now though, she was far too valuable. In addition to being easily manipulated, her Heartless ally was an invaluable way to help control the tides of darkness. While he suspected that Phoenix was perhaps a failed Emblem Heartless experiment from the labs of Hollow Bastion, hence why Phoenix retained a sense of self, Raiz had never actually asked.

"Selax, Phoenix." Raiz replied, squinting his eyes a bit. Was her enthusiasm genuine because of a job well done, or an attempt to save face?

"I see you've returned from Beast's Castle without a princess. Care to explain to me why poor Rapunzel must spend another night alone?"

He crossed his arms and tilted his head up. If failures like these were starting to become commonplace, Raiz needed to consider new employment.

Kikai
Kikai walked along the familiar docks, watching ships depart and land at Traverse Town. He was carrying a sack of useless wares travelers had given him, slung over his shoulder. He couldn't wait to dissect his findings at Cid's shop. A woman approached him, her tall and looming figure dark among the evening lights of Traverse Town.

"Excuse me young man," she started, "Some folks have told me you are the one who is taking useless cargo off anyone's hands."

"Yup, that's me," Kikai said with a smile. "Can I take something off your hands by any chance?"

"You're a keen one, aren't you," The woman pulls out a few Gummi blocks, nothing that catches Kikai's eye in particular, and handed them to the boy. He threw his sack on the ground and added them to the growing pile. "These are just old parts that no longer work in my ship. May you use them better than I did." She smile and departed from Kikai. Kikai gave her a small wave and threw the back over his shoulder. That should be enough, this back is starting to get heavy!

Whistling, Kikai makes his leave from the harbor. As he was leaving, he hears a loud bark coming from one of the nearby alleyways. Looking left and right, Kikai curiously peered down it. A small dalmatian pup catches Kikai looking at him and runs out to him, barking even louder. The pup paws at Kikai's boots, almost asking for help.

"Is something the matter, Pupper?" Kikai bent down and petted the small dog's head. "I can't play with you right now, I gotta get back to work." Standing up, Kikai starts to walk and whistle again. However, the pup was keeping pace with him, following him through Traverse Town at his feet. "Look, I'm not your owner, okay?" However that didn't stop the Dalmatian. Sighing Kikai decided to deal with the pup later as the weight of the sack started to hurt his shoulders.

Norah
Norah walked along the sidewalk in market district, humming to herself. She shifted her grocery bags in her arms while stepping over a patch of uneven pavement. With a slight shuffle, she turns the corner on her way home.

"Mmm HmmHmm mmhmm" Norah hums. "Hmm mmm mmhmm hmmhmm"

"Wait..." Norah looks up in thought.

"Hmm mmhmm hmmmm hmm."

"Yea that's more in tune."

Norah stops walking.

"Oh." Norah says to herself. I didn't even notice I walked to this portion of the park.

Norah looks around, glancing at the trees and the fountain. She walks over to the nearby bench. She places her couple bags down and sits besides them. With a yawn and a stretch, she leans back at looks up at the twinkling skies.

"The stars always look so pretty".

A flash of bright blue skies and white clouds skips through her mind. Stunning her momentarily.
She shakes her head before looking back at the sky. Still dark. Still twinkling.

Norah sighs.

Norah stands up, dusts off her leg, and grabs her grocery bags before continuing her way home.

Marena
The evening sky was a comforting collage of purple and oranges in the evening sky in Twilight town. Activity was dying down for the day among the market streets, kids were enjoying their last few hours of playing in the sun before returning home to dinner and sleep before continuing their next day of the same activity. The Bell Tower tolled, announcing the next hour. All the while, in a small restaurant, sat a woman in a blue dress, plate armor, and blonde hair was consuming a large amount of food.

The sounds of delighted eating was heard as Marena lifted up a plate, using her fork to filter down the remaining pieces of meat that was on her plate before returning it to a pile of 3 plates. She stretched lightly as a server, surprised in the food connoisseur’s pure feast of full dinners as they said, “All done, ma’am?”

”My time of meal is complete. As crestfallen as I am for the fullness of my stomach. I thank the chef for his craft.” Marena spoke as the server took a second to understand what the odd woman meant. She then nodded as payment was exchanged for the dinner and Marena made her way from the restaurant.

She looked skyward, her azure orbs reflecting the evening sky, a slight smile in her lips. She then questioned to herself, ‘Are my fellow knights gazing upon the same wreath of dusk as I? Or is Britain truly not within this world I stand. No matter, I must find that black-heart who has taken milady Rapunzel. I should keep a close eye for thy black hood that he was adorned in. No reports from the local populace have given me as such information.’

Marena walked forward, distracted by thought. What would she be doing from no. No leads. It was then it dawned at her as she spoke to herself quietly, ”It is nearly the domain of the moon. Perhaps that is the best time to look for rogues and fiends with their fear to the doxology the sun radiates. It must be there I shall find a lead for milady.”

Selax
Selax took a deep breath. She could tell her boss was getting annoyed at the Organization's recent streak of failure.

"We were tricked, sir. She wasn't in the castle nor the town. I honestly don't know where we can find her, but I will keep working on it."

"If I might add," the mysterious talking heartless said, "we were more focused on the other key part to the plan: stopping the keyblade wielders from awakening."

What Phoenix said was 100% true. There was a prophecy that keyblade heroes would rise and restore the world's light. Selax knew about it because she found a book from King Mickey's library at the bottom of her bag. When she tried to tell Raiz about the possibility of them coming,  he shrugged it off, telling her that all the keyblade masters have been gone for so long that there weren't ever any left. She never knew why he was so confident in his beliefs, as she remembered feeling strongly about keyblades in the past. The only thing is her memory escaped her, and the only hope to even remotely restoring them was to find Kingdom Hearts.

"Yes, that's exactly what we were after. This part took up more of my power than I'd like, but I sent a meteor towards Traverse town. When I strikes outside the city, heartless will arise and stamp out any threats they can find. Of course, Uxolis  is moderating the progress."

She hoped Raiz would find their work suitable so far. After all, even without a heart, she felt strongly about making him happy and completing his mission.

However, what the organization didn't know was that a pilot detected the meteor coming towards twilight town. Eager to dispose of it, he shot at it with a neutralizer. However, because it was infested with heartless, he ended up swallowed in the darkness with it. It broke into 3 pieces: One to Twilight Town, one to Traverse Town, and one to Destiny Islands.

Rin
Rin fell asleep on the beach in the middle of her book. She was awakened by someone shoving her awake.

"Rin! Rin! Wake up, wake up!" Jillian screamed.

"Huh...?" She turned and looked at him. It was very, very dark outside. In fact, it was so dark Rin could not longer see the moon. She must've fell asleep for a long time and it was now midnight.

"This is serious! Some weird things are attacking the town. And for some reason, when they touched someone...they...they..." Jillian's eyes were filled with tears.

Rin shot up and saw little black antlike creatures crawling about. Immediately, she hid behind Jillian. "What are those?!"

"How the hell should I know?! Come on!" He grabbed her hand and headed towards his boat. "We've got to sail outta here!"

"I agree!" Rin said, even though she was always afraid of going far out to sea. However, now was not the time to be worried about what happens when one of them inevitably dies out on the ocean of starvation. In fact, that was a better way to go than being eaten alive by walking ants.

Suddenly, the two became surrounded by the antlike creatures. Rin screamed, not knowing what was going to happen next. Jillian began to fed them off with the umbrella in his hand.

"Jillian! Look out!" Rin screamed, but it was too late. Her brother suddenly melted into a puddle of darkness.

"Take me too...don't leave me here, alone..." Rin fell down onto her knees.

"Fight them them back!"

Rin fell unconscious, not knowing what happened after that. When she awoke, she found herself on a bed in a strange room.

"Where...am I?"

Kikai
Whistling, Kikai decided to cut through the park to Cid's shop. It was on the way and provided new scenery beyond the evening lit lanterns and creamy starry sky that always loomed over Traverse Town. The dalmatian pup barked happily as the two entered the park.

A looming shadow falls upon Kikai. Looking up Kikai expected to see a large Gummi Ship departing from the harbor. However, instead he saw the stars were blocked out by an unbending darkness. "What?" He watched as some of the darkness dispatched like raindrops onto the ground. Small little bipedal ant creatures emerged from the black puddles and looked at Kikai with their glowing eyes.

"Oh no no no no," Kikai turned back the way he came to run. However, that entrance was blocked by a large round creature with the same glowing eyes as the ants. It hit his belly, jiggling it, and made a low moaning sound. "Well by King Mickey's good name..." Judging his options, Kikai started running forward into the heart of the park. The pup kept pace with him, wincing in fear.

He saw a girl around his age who was oblivious to pending danger. She carried her grocery bags with a soft hum as her white hair swished softly in the breeze. "Hey!" Kikai shouted to her. "Get out of here, now!"

Shocked, the girl looked at Kikai with a puzzled expression. However, once she saw the creatures, her eyes widened as well. One the ant like creatures reached up to grab her skirt with it's claw-like hand. Kikai quickly grabbed his grappling hook from his leather belt and released the trigger at the creature. The creature recoiled into the darkness but soon reappeared a few feet away from the two. Kikai pressed a button on the side of the hook and the line returned in one piece. "That was close!"

Raiz

Raiz listened intently to Selax's excuses. She was clearly trying, but a plan of this magnitude had little room for failure. The fate of the entire universe rested on the Organization's shoulders. Still, Raiz decided he should give her a break. With a small smirk, he placed a comforting hand upon Selax's tense shoulder.

"You have done well." he announced.

The smirk faded from his lips, and he removed his hand. He returned to his stern demeanor.

"But we need to do better. The princesses are our main priority, we need to grab them as quickly and as quietly as we can. They'll serve their purpose and then they'll be free to go. Now, as for the keyblade wielders..."

Raiz motioned for Selax and Phoenix to walk with him as he descended down the steps of the castle.

"I know I previously dismissed your claim of new key bearers. After some more thinking... I believe it would be unwise to dismiss the possibility outright. I have never had the honor of meeting King Mickey, but I know of his wisdom, and he would not have a book with a prophecy in it if he didn't believe in it."

The trio continued their descent down the steps, and ended up at a long, white hallway. Raiz walked down the middle, with his sights set at the door on the very end.

"Should a keyblade find its way into the hands of a new heart, then they would instantly become the greatest threat to our plans. Keybearers, should they find the heart of a world, can lock it, and prevent the Heartless from ever having access to it. Considering the formation of our current Kingdom Hearts depends entirely on taking the hearts of worlds and putting them into Kingdom Hearts, it should be obvious that we cannot allow that to happen. However..."

They reached the end of the hallway. Raiz opened the door slowly, revealing a large library filled with endless knowledge.

"King Mickey is not the only one with books, or wisdom. And through my research, I have learned how we can use any prospective keybearers to our advantage."

Raiz began to carefully comb through the many books in his vast collection, continuing to monologue as his eyes narrowed, reading each spine with intense focus.

"When I found Yaxar on the streets below the castle, he told me of his hometown, a beautiful city called Radiant Garden. Now it is a twisted abomination known as Hollow Bastion. You may recall that is where I found Phoenix."

Finding the book he was looking for, he turned to face his two compatriots.

"Phoenix, notice the emblem upon your chest. That means you are not a true Heartless, but rather an artificial one, and there is a heart trapped within your shell of a body. Normally, a Heartless is just that: a being of true darkness with naught by primal instincts. Heartless with emblems however are, as I said, artificial shells made to replicate the creation of a heartless. An almost perfect imitation of one of nature's harshest lessons."

Walking with them over to a table, he placed the old book upon a table and began to carefully flip through it.

"The reason I say this is: the only way to release the heart of an emblem heartless is to have it be slain by a keyblade. Normally, the heart would return to the body and soul. Due to our line of work, the hearts instead are drawn to their true home: Kingdom Hearts. Because of this, the odds are in our favor. When we let the Heartless descend upon a world, one of two things occurs: the Heartless perform their natural function and capture the heart of a world, sending it to Kingdom Hearts. Alternatively, the keyblade wielders arrive, defeat most of the Heartless, and seal the keyhole. The world may be saved, but the hearts of the Heartless will still cause Kingdom Hearts to grow. Does all of this make sense?"

Raiz gave them only a brief moment to begin vocalizing their reactions to all of this complicated info, before continue with his exposition. He found the page he was looking for: an astrological map of worlds and the stars associated.

"In my studies, I find that keyblade bearers tend to originate or discover their power in one of these three worlds, all of which are in close proximity."

For the briefest of moments, Raiz's finger stopped upon the name of his home world: Twilight Town. His happy memories had yet to fade from his mind, but the ghosts of dreams gone by reinvigorated his purpose. He guided the two to a balcony, just outside of the library with a gorgeous view of the night sky.

"..Twilight Town, Traverse Town, and... Destiny Islands. Especially Destiny Islands. Which, according to this map, should be... right around... there." He pointed to Destiny Island's star. It twinkled, and then grew brighter. Raiz was taken aback. The star grew even brighter, and then disappeared from the night sky completely. The heart of the world had been found, and taken by the Heartless. It was now a part of Kingdom Hearts.

Raiz laughed in amazement. It had been so long, he had almost forgotten he was capable of a full smile at all. He quickly regained his composure, and looked proudly upon Selax and Phoenix.

"What a pleasant surprise. Well done, you two. With that world out of the way, any keyblade bearers on that island would've been transported to one of those two worlds. With your Heartless attacking Traverse Town, if they can take the heart of that world..."

Raiz went back into the library and put up his book, seemingly with some pep in his step. He seemed almost excited that his plan was coming to fruition.

"If they take the heart of Traverse Town, that will funnel all of the keyblade bearers to Twilight Town, and eliminate everyone else. Once they're all gathered in Twilight Town, I know exactly what will happen..."

Raiz's mind lingered upon an old keyblade wielder who lived in Twilight Town, who had always dreamed of becoming a master but never found anyone with the proper heart to wield a keyblade. Raiz used to love listening to their stories of other worlds, of monsters they had battled and interesting figures they had met. Most of all Raiz remembered his disappointment when the old master told Raiz his heart was too full of darkness after losing his parents, and that he could never wield a keyblade. Raiz knew this old vagabond would immediately sense the arrival of any keyblade wielders and want to train them. Raiz figured he could use that to his advantage.

His attention snapped back to Selax and Phoenix. "Phoenix, this information should've been enough to inform you of your vital mission: produce more emblem heartless, and take the hearts of worlds. Both of those stages of the plan depend entirely on you." That was a lie, he had other means of producing heartless, but he needed the conviction of a loyal underling to ensure victory.

"Selax, inform Uxolis that it is of utmost priority that the heart of Traverse Town is found and taken. I know I normally tell you all not to get involved if you don't have to, but I am giving him permission to do whatever is necessary."

Raiz began to walk away from the two, and planned on returning to his room. "When you finish informing Uxolis, Selax, come to my room. The most important stage of the plan hinges entirely on your shoulders."

Marena
The Knight in the blue dress walked on, as the sun got closer and closer to setting until… The art of purple and orange that was the sky was blotted out in eerie darkness. Marena paused in her tracks, feeling the same cold spike down her back that she felt when chasing the dark hooded kidnapper of the Princess. Keeping a sharp gaze forward, she heard a sudden scream from distance, turning and gazing as a small pack of dark, ant-like creatures savagely ran about in a primal rampage.

Running forward, Marena saw as two teenagers running in fear from said creatures, with the charging of the Knight, she held out her arm, and feeling it materialize, was her new found weapon. A strange white and gold key-like blade that truly seemed to harm these creatures, at least from it’s sole use back in her home realm. Rocketing upwards, Marena held her keyblade firmly, and in a swift strike, destroyed the front leader of the pack of heartless.

Shifting around on her feet, she grasped the blade in both hands, striking down the following heartless. Seeing the new threat, the remaining few heartless focused on Marena. The knight spoke, ”Creatures of grim existence, I doubt thy would parlay. Explain to I, Marena Ametza, Knight of Britain, what is thy goal here and who is the man in black clothing that has taken her Highness?”

One heartless twitched in a strange manner before jumping at Marena, claws bare. With a quick parry and a counter slash, the heartless faded away in defeat. She scoffed, saying, ”I see your are each knaves of the finest calibur.” Marena sighs slightly before continuing, ”It seems I must find that rogue and rip his tongue out myself for if I want these answers I quest for.”

Within a couple of flashes, Marena’s keyblade smites away the blight creatures. Turning on her foot, Marena made her way to the most notable landmark in Twilight Town: The Bell Tower. Using her keyblade as a guide, The Knight if the Round cleaved away whatever Heartless may be in her path while making her way onward to the town’s plaza.

Norah
As the red haired boy retracted his grappling hook, Norah looked around quickly.

"Wha-what are these things?" Norah asks shaken. "S-so gross."

Out of the corner of her eye, she notices something. She grabs an apple from her grocery bag and hurls it at the shadow trying to grab at the dalmatian puppy that followed along. The creature disapates only to reappear a short distance back.

"St-stay away."

The boy shoots the closest one with his grappling hook to give them more room while Norah throws a few more apples and a banana at the creatures.

"We can't stay here." Norah pleads as more beings of shadow approach them.
____Swamp___
Suddenly, a woman in blue and armor runs by with an odd sword and slashes through the horde. While yelling in her noble accent, the swordswoman dances through the horde wiping out all in her path. She sprouts more rough words and sprints toward the edge of the park, leaving the two of them behind.
___End Swamp____
Seeing the opportunity, Norah grabs his hand, dropping her groceries, and they make a break for it. They follow the open trail the woman in blue left. Norah stumpled slightly but caught herself from tripping on a spot where the pavement was breaking up. Meanwhile, the puppy barked a warning as a shadow being jumped overhead from a nearby tree. The boy responded quickly by shooting out his grappling hook another time, evaporating the shadow who reappeared on the ground behind them. The woman moved very quickly and kept pulling away from them. The shadows ahead kept reappearing with less and less of a gap.

We can't follow her fast enough. And there's no park entrance this way. We need another way to escape. Norah thought, scanning the edges of the pavement ahead.

"We need a different direction to get out of the park." Norah said.

"I know where." the boy said.

After a moment, the boy grabbed her arm as they made a hasty turn off the path. Cutting between some rose bushes, they ran through the trees to different path. With another turn, they slid down a small grassy hill to arrive on the next pathway over. They saw more of the horde down the path but had a clear shot towards the other district gate. With a few swerves, they ran through the park entrance and escaped the park into the eastern Traverse Town district.

Norah and the boy continue down the avenue toward the bridge. They see a larger version of the shadow beings, wide enough to be blocking the whole bridge. So they turn down an alley only to run into a dead end after another bend. They swerve around to see the shadows closing in.

Norah hastily glances at their surroundings before shifting her direction skyward.

"Up there." Norah points upyward. "Quickly. Use your grappling hook to get us to the roof."

The boy nods and shoots his hook, tugging on it to make sure it's secured. Norah kneels down to scoop up the dalmation with one arm. The boy grabs under her arm, securing her back before clicking the button. With a jerk, they zip up the building. Shadow beings leaping just under them.

Up at the top, Norah shifts so the boy can get the both of them up past the hook. As the two climb over the edge, the puppy jumps out of Norah's arms onto the roof. Losing her balance, Norah stumples backward. She then feels a hand on her wrist.

"I gotch you." the boy said gripping her firmly.

Norah's cheeks grew faintly warmer for a second as she caught his eyes. Norah set her foot on the building wall. The boy tugged her wrist, pulling her onto the ledge. When both of her feet were firmly on the roof, the boy let go of her wrist.

"We should be safe up here for the moment." Norah says, breathing quickly, overlooking the edge. "Minnie's embrace," she adds under her breath.

She straightens, brushing her hair from her face and gains a look of realization.

"Oh. Oh right. Thank you, Sir." Norah smiles, extending her hand. "My name is Norah."

Kingdom Hearts: Reflections Empty

Rin
"I see your awake," A man said bringing in a tray of tea and cookies. He set them on the table next to Rin.

Spoiler:

"Who are you?" Rin blinked. She had never seen anyone dressed so uniquely. In fact, he didn't seem to have an arm at all, it was made of metal material. Rin wondered how he lost it and made one out of machinery.

"The name's Dex. I used to do a lot more travelin', but nowadays I just deliver packages to and from Traverse and Twilight Town. It's complicated, but I've slowed down ever since my injury."

"Oh. I'm sorry for your loss," Rin said, taking a sip of the tea. Traverse Town? Twilight Town? She's never heard of those two places. "Um...how did I end up here? Did I die?"

"Oh, heavens no. In fact, I pulled ya out of there before they had a chance to take ya. I was cruisin' along in the skies until I saw that meteor coming, but unfortunately I found that it hit your world. I was only able to escape with a stroke of luck and my wits to move outta that darkness. However, there was too many of em', so unfortunately ya can't go back. The world's overrun by now."

"Wait?! What?! But what about my brother and my friends?!"

"I'm sorry, but ya may not be seeing them for a long, long time, if ever. It's too risky to send a young girl like ya back. You'll be taken right along with em', and they like pure innocent hearts like you."

"But...I can't live without them!" Rin started to cry.

"This is the way life is now. Lots of people are losin' loved ones to em'. But there's nothing we can do 'bout this now. I refuse to go back, not ever since they took our best and stole that young un's heart. Just keep yourself busy. I suggest maybe getting a part time job at the potion shop."

"This is serious! My entire world just got decimated and I won't see anyone again!"

"It's happening to lots of people, but believe me, there's people workin' on it. I'll give you some more time to process this."

"So...where am I?" Rin asked.

"Twilight town. It's one of the only safe places left. The Organization doesn't really seem to care about this world too much. Ya can live a good long life here, probably, if they don't come," Dex said.

Suddenly, Dex and Rin heard a few loud screams outside. They peered out the window to see the antlike creatures were roaming the streets.

"Well, it looks like they came here too," he said. He lifted his right hand, and a strange looking weapon appeared. "Ugh. I knew I should've retired in Arendelle."

Kingdom Hearts: Reflections 64?cb=20130729034615

"W-w-wha?"

"Let the pro take care of this. I should've known that he would attack this world. They're probably trying to stop the next awakening. Ugh. I wish Yen Cid was here, now I'm gonna have to deal with this."

Rin watch him go outside and start destroying the heartless one by one. He was pretty good at using the strange, keylike weapon. However, she noticed that there were some heartless who were going to attack him from behind.

There had to be something she could do help, what if they took him like they did her brother?!

Rin's hand glowed pink. A pink-and-black weapon appeared in her hand. The jewels glistened beautifully in the light. "Wow..." She didn't know what it was, but if it could be used to take out those things, why not?

Selax
When you finish informing Uxolis, Selax, come to my room. The most important stage of the plan hinges entirely on your shoulders."

"Y-yes sir!" Selax said, happy her leader found her important. She couldn't wait to be the one who will help him make all his dreams come true. She always loved listening to Raiz's speeches because they were full of wisdom and insight.

"Let's go!" Phoenix chimed happily.

Selax used her dark magic to teleport Phoenix and herself Traverse town. When she arrived, the place was already overrun with heartless. It was wonderful.

"Yo! Selax! Phoenix!" Uxolis greeted her. "What brings you here?"

"There's something I need to tell you. Our boss has just given orders to take the heart of Traverse town. It's pretty important we do this, so I'll help you out."

At that, she motioned to Phoenix to conjure some bigger, stronger heartless. The little heartless did a small dance at five big, doglike heartless came into the world.

"These are amazing! It'll make the job of taking this world cake," Uxolis smiled.

"I know," Selax nodded her head in agreement. She noticed two children were standing on the roof top. She motioned for the heartless to listen. "See those two kids? I don't like it. They look too happy, and perhaps they're a couple. One of you go take their hearts for me. The rest, follow Uxolis' orders."

Selax grinned at one of them hopped over to the roof top to attack the teenagers.

"Thanks for this gift. I'll let you know how to this turns out," Uxolis said, opening his book. "I've got a few spells I can use to make the job easier. I'll be back in the evening."

"Perfect!" Selax said. "Come on, Phoenix. We should report to Raiz."

Kikai
"The name's Kikai," He took her hand and gave it a hard but firm shake. He noticed she quickly looked away as they were shaking. Letting go, he peers over the side of the building, "Uh Norah, looks like we have more company." Five dog heartless started to make their way up the building, jumping from windowsill to windowsill. They barked at one another and scrambled to get to the top first. Their intelligence as a team was lacking though as one crashed into another causing it to fall from the building with a loud yelp.

Kingdom Hearts: Reflections Latest?cb=20110823234501

"How....threatening..." Kikai said as he fought back a chuckle. Without a proper weapon between the two teenagers, these mostly harmless dog creatures were a threat. Fumbling on his belt he reached to grab a small red remote. Pulling out the silver antenna, he was about the hit the large white button at the top when a loud sound wave from one of the dogs hit it out of his hands. It slid across the roof, almost falling over the side. Though incompetent, the five dogs made it on the roof.

"That was our way out of here!" Kikai said in anger, clenching his teeth. He moved in front of Norah, facing the dogs head on. If any of them were going down, it was going to be him. The dalmatian puppy whimpered as it hid behind Norah's leg.

The dog in the lead jumped at Kikai with it's mouth wide open. He tried to block by crossing his arms in front of him. He closed his eyes, waiting for the impact. He felt something manifest into his left hand and instinctively let his guard down and slashed at the dog. Opening his eyes he sees the dog burst into dust.

Looking down, Kikai sees a black key-like blade in his hands. It seemed to reflect a part of himself with the edge looking eerily similar to a gear he'd use in his Gummi Ship. With newfound confidence, Kikai said, "There is only one good boy here, and it's not you pups!" He charged at them.

With a slash or two for each dog, they each burst into dust one by one. Kikai was huffing in exhaustion at the end. The blade in his left hand disappeared as quickly as it manifested once the fight was over. "Kikai, here!" During the fight, Norah had made her way over to the remote and snatched it. She gave it to Kikai. The antenna had broken off on impact. No worries, I can fix that later. The range should still be short enough for it to work...

"Let's get the heck out of here now." Kikai said, taking it and pressing the white button. On queue, a red and white ship started heading their way. It was massive, a spectacle to see in the darkening sky of Traverse Town. As it neared, the finer details were revealed. The ship was shaped with a thin point at the end and wider wings, in a triangle formation. There were two blasters visible on each wing with a overhead glass cabin that slanted and widened with the shape of the ship. Hovering near the side of the building, the upper latch of the glass opened up to reveal the pilot's cabin filled with an array of buttons and a steering wheel in front of the left seat. The wheel was equipped with many buttons for easy access blasters and other functions on the fly.

Norah's eyes widened at the sight, "You have a ship?!" The dalmatian pup barked in delight and wagged it's small tail.

"'Course I do!" Kikai said grinning pridefully, "Traverse Town isn't safe right now so it might be best to head to a different world until this darkness mess is sorted out. I promise I'll take you home once this is all cleared up," Kikai jumped into the cabin and extended a hand to help Norah in. She picked up the small pup and took his hand, looking away. Kikai thought he saw a glimpse of color in her cheeks but brushed away the thought. She sat down in the right seat, strapping in her and the pup safely. Kikai carelessly sat in the left seat and flicked across three switches on the control panel. He then hits two buttons on the left without thinking and the latch closes. He puts on a headset and pulls out the attached microphone to an area around his mouth.

Clicking the button on the side of the headset, he heard static noises coming from the earmuffs, "Nothing...looks like this darkness blocked out even our connection with Chip and Dale..." He clicked the button again and grabbed the steering wheel.

The Gummi Ship started to move, blasting away from Traverse Town into the wide open space. The familiar buildings became smaller and smaller as Kikai looked from his seat. However, he couldn't see half the town. It was pitch black like something was consuming the world. Looking away, Kikai tried to change the subject in his brain. He started mumbling, "Well, I still haven't named the puppy....hmmmm...maybe Day of Destiny, or Dod for short. Nah, more like Day of Trauma, so Dot it is..."

Raiz
While Selax and Phoenix went to complete their mission, Raiz decided to pay a visit to one of the most loyal members of the Organization, Yaxar. Once a man of great strength and even greater character, now he was little more than a soul trapped in a machine. With no heart and barely even a body of his own, Yaxar was fiercely loyal to Raiz's goal of completing Kingdom Hearts so that he could feel something again, even if it meant he would be a cyborg forever.

Raíz entered Yaxar's room quietly, curious what he does in his free time. He found Yaxar floating above the ground in a meditative pose, with ripples of energy emanating from his body. Evidently, Yaxar liked to practice his Gravity magic in his free time. Sensing Raiz's presence, the ripples became more and more chaotic before stopping, and Yaxar slowly floated down to the ground and turned around to face his leader.

Raiz locked eyes with Yaxar's singular piercing red eye.

"What brings you to my quarters, my lord?" Yaxar inquired, his voice a twisted, metallic imitation of a man's.

"I have a task for you, Yaxar. In Twilight Town."

"Izexita is already active in Twilight Town. Approximately 3 days, 4 hours and 27 seconds ago you stated that it would be unwise to-"

"Change of plans, Yaxar. Izexita has his task, and you shall have yours. There is a man in Twilight Town that I wish to be eliminated."

Raiz's mind conjured Dex. Dex was his hero as a child, always coming back to town with souvenirs and stories. Oh how Raiz longed for the days where he and his parents could sit and listen to Dex talk for hours about pirates and emperors and gods.

Raiz loved Dex... and Dex had betrayed him by not bestowing upon him a keyblade. All of this was Dex's fault. If Dex had just given Raiz the power of the keyblade, he would've defeated as many Heartless as necessary and no world would ever have been conquered, no lives would have been lost. Raiz would've happily spent his every waking moment in the Keyblade Graveyard battling Heartless, all to save everyone.

But no. Dex decided that Raiz's anguish held too much control over him, and that he needed to figure himself out and let the death of his parents go. Raiz's anger was momentarily soothed by the memory of Dex being the only one to visit him before he left on his gummi ship forever. Perhaps Dex could be an ally, perhaps Dex would understand, or maybe Raiz was finally rea-

"Name the target, sir."

Raiz sighed. There was no backing down now. "His name is Dex. He has a metal arm and wields a keyblade."

Raiz looked outside Yaxar's window, and saw the light of Traverse Town glimmer and disappear from existence.

"Traverse Town is now gone, Yaxar. Any and all keyblade wielders will be in Twilight Town, and Dex will be the first to find them. I don't know how he does, but he can always seem to tell the contents of people's hearts. His first order of business will be to gather the wielders and train them, I'm sure of it."

"My orders are to stop this training from occurring?"

"Let him at least begin. Watch from afar, in the shadows. Then attack him while he's talking. The more personal his death is for the keyblade wielders, the more motivated they will be to stop the Heartless and the Organization."

"I do not understand. You want the keyblade wielders to stop the Organization?"

Raiz gave Yaxar a rare smirk as a dark portal opened and Yaxar prepared to step through. "I want them to try."

Marena and Izexita
The golden keyblade of Marena cut down another Heartless as she entered the court in front of the Bell Tower. Two other styled heartless that took flight and wielded blades took skyward, dashing forth as their aerial attacks were countered and riposted by the blue knight. She scanned about the area, taking a moment to breath as she held her blade in two hands.

Walking forward slowly, and following a natural instinct, Marena kept her gaze moving as a voice spoke, ”Oh, Knight , it’s been too long.”

Following the voice, Marena gazed up the clock tower, and spied him. The kidnapper of Rapunzel. The rogue in a black coat, the one who nearly claimed Marena’s life. He was standing above the city on a railing, as he continued speaking, ”Now, I’d waste my magic voice on you, but I know I could easily do it without magic.”

Snapping his finger, the tumultuous crash of lightning sounded and Marena nearly failed to cross her blade with the Organization members, she spied his grin underneath his hooded face as the exchanging of strikes between each individual occurred. Marena smirked as both jumped back, taunting, ”Thou blade is true, but pales in comparison to the strongest of the Table.”

”Yes, knights and chivalry. For the romances and dramas capture and use that abusively. I’d enjoy taking an outing and lead the destruction of your realm just for enjoyment of killing cliches” Izexita spoke, changing his grasp on his blade as he  crossed metal with the Knight.

”Sir Bedivere, the most simplest of the knights, even would surpass your skill, for one reason as basic as his upbringing.” Marena spoke, holding her blade aloft for a second as she started moving her lips quickly before strengthening her hold again, speaking out, ”With the fact you avoid using your power. Move quick my soles!”

Charging forth, the Britain knight boomed, leaving an after image behind as blades crossed again, moving the Organization member to the defensive. Taking advantage of her speed, Marena pierced her foes defense, nearing his body until his voice rung out. It was a sanguine melody, and Marena clenched her teeth with her ears agonizing in pain while she jumped back, her spell dissipating. There both stood, back to square one as they both showed their magic strength.

Uxolis
Uxolis smiled as he watched the dogs multiply one by one and go after civilians. It was a great gift from Selax and Phoenix to take Traverse town. He loved victory.

"Now it's time for the grand finale!" Uxolis opened his book. "The heart of twilight town - is mine!"

Black magic started swirling out from the book and crawled onto the pavement and into the ground. The darkness pulled all of the light out of the world and Uxolis closed the book. No one would be able to land in Twilight Town now without becoming consumed by heartless.

"Heh heh heh...It's time to report back."

-Rin-
Rin looked at all of the weird black creatures popping up from the ground. "I can't believe they're here, too! Ew, ew, ew!" As she bopped them with the weird pink keylike weapon, they disappeared.

Dex turned around. "Look out!" He threw his keylike weapon at a huge heartless that almost swat Rin from behind. It disappeared in an instant, and the key reappeared in Dex's hand.

"So yer chosen...Well, lassie. I'll explain more later, but can you do something for me? Help me rid this street of em'."

Rin nodded. She began following Dex, beating the heartless in groups. There weren't as many as Destiny Islands, but enough for them to be a nuisance. She looked up to see a knight fighting another man.

"Another keyblade master. That guy's trouble. He must be from the org," Dex said. "I'll assist."

Dex jumped up from behind Izexita. "It's been a while since I've seen ya. You're outnumbered." At that, Dex released a thunderlike spell onto Izexita. Marena nodded, taking the opportunity to close in on Izexita. The nobody had no choice but to use some of his energy to move out of the way.

[Swamp, you have permission to finish the fight. Please make Izexita retreat and keep Marena here so the group can meet up]

Selax
Selax giggled as soon as she walked into Raiz's room. "I'm so glad he invited me here, I wonder what sort of special mission he's giving me."

"Who knows," the little heartless chimed. "But it better be good!"

Selax decided tot ake the opportunity to look around. Raiz was no where to be found, and of course, she wanted to know more about her master (for loyalty purposes, of course). She walked over to his bookshelf. "Look at all the books he has here. He's got a lot of the classics, like The Snow Queen and The Little Mermaid, but what's this?" She pulld out a slip of paper.

Phoenix jumped onto her shoulder. "You shouldn't be snooping! If we get caught, that's bad!"

"Relax," Selax said, opening the envelope. It was a letter that was apparently dated 20 years ago.

Dear Raiz,

I hope life's treating you well. I'm writing to you from a world that's wrapped in the jungle. There's apes, tigers, and I even met a man who lived the woods. Here I was able to study so much about wildlife. Can you imagine living in the jungle surrounded by animals yer whole life? It's been great getting a taste of it all here!

For yer keepsakes, a gift - take this four leaf clover. And don't forget to tell your mother and father you love them today, they do their best to take care you ya!

-Dex

"Boring. At least it's not a love letter from another girl," Selax said, putting it back into the bookcase. Besides, the four leaf clover was gone and no longer with the letter. However, she remembered something: there was a boy who gave her one once. Selax thought about it for a moment, but she couldn't recall when or where. She also remembered going to a place described in the letter, but she also couldn't recall that either.

"I hear him coming!" Phoenix said.

"I'm ready!" Selax said, smoothing her hair and standing in a ready position.

Norah

"Heh. I'm surprised you didn't try Day of Grief and Dog for short. Do you even know if Dot is a girl?" Norah asked with a tinge of bitterness in her voice.

"eh ... um... no. I didn't." Kikai stuttered.

Norah sighed. The dalmatian jumped onto her lap and gave her an earnest look. She scratched behind its ear and after a moment of enjoying itself, the puppy rolled over for a belly rub. Norah obliged.

"Dot would work fine." She stated.

The puppy barked in delight then plopped down from Norah's lap and ran over to paw at Kikai's legs. With a smirk, Kikai took one hand off the wheel and reached down to pet the dog.

Norah stared at the windows as the ship pressed onward. Suddenly, an image came to her mind. One of a black tower surrounded by skies with hues of orange with a sun on the edge of the horizon.

Norah heard something. A faint voice. Her name actually.

"Norah!"

"Hmm?" Snapped to, Norah regained her senses, back to the ship, with her leg nuzzled by a wet nose. A small whine escaped the puppy. Dot, that's right. She looked over to find Kikai looking at her questionably.

"You...ok?" Kikai asked. "You zoned out there for a sec."

"Um yea. I'm just fine." Norah responded.

"Okay well. I was bringing up we should probably head over to-"

"Hey, your ship is quite impressive. I think I'm going to look around for a minute so I can navigate the inside." Norah said, unbuckling herself and getting up. "Page me when we're close to our destination!" Norah says as she leaves the bridge. Kikai and Dot watch her leave then give each other a confused look.

Down the hall, Norah walked, trying to hum but her voice unsteady. She followed the hallway taking note of the kitchen, small cabin, and such. When Norah turned around to return, she noticed her hand was shaking. She brought up her hand to look at it and a tear landed on it. Norah gave out a half laugh as she leaned against the wall.

"At least, I can wait until after the fight to break." Norah snickered to herself.

Norah let her legs relax and she sat on the floor. Folding her arms, she allowed herself to cry softly. She could have stayed there for a while, as thoughts of her apartment and community entered her mind. Her bed. Her room. Her newly purchased flower pot on the window sill. Her street. The lady who was the best neighbor Norah could have. The store keepers at the market. The new apprentice baker - nope. Memories tend to make people get lost in time. But Norah blocked it. A clenched fist made sure of it. As she was calming down, a speaker turned on nearby.

"Norah, come back to the bridge please."

Norah looks back at the bridge and sighs.

"No tears. That's enough for now. There's more important stuff to do." Norah said wiping her eyes one last time.

She stands up and stretches. She started walking, humming to herself. About halfway through the phrase, her voice strengthened and her walk straightened.

"So ... where are we headed to?" Norah asked as she walked back in.

Kikai took a second to examine her before responding.

"Twilight Town."

"Twilight Town?" Norah bemused.

"Yep." Kikai confirmed.

He pointed to a world up ahead. "It's not too far ahead and I've been there a couple times for parts so I figured it'd be a good choice. The endless evening takes some getting used to instead of endless starlight though."

As they drove closer into the atmosphere, the skies turned from black into an array of reds and pinks. Clouds dotted the sky in accent.

"It's beautiful here." Norah said in awe.

As they flew closer, it shifted more steadily into oranges. Norah leaned forward in her seat, placing her hand on the glass. Her eyes searching everywhere at the sights. She gasped slightly and a worried look came upon her face.

"Um... Kikai." Norah said, pointing at the ground. "Looks like Traverse Town wasn't the only place with trouble."

Kikai
"By King Mickey's good name, will we ever get a break?" Kikai said, annoyed. He flipped a few switches and turned the steering wheel to the left. The ship maneuvered around the large clock tower as he looked for a safe place to land. A large pink creature flies up and lands on the cockpit glass. It roared loudly and blocked Kikai's view.

Wyvern:

"Hold on Nora, this might get bumpy!" Kikai said as he hastily turned the steering wheel. The ship flipped upside down, shaking off the Heartless and blasted past two more buildings. The ship regained it's posture as neared the ground. Kikai slowed the ship's pace as he found a safe patch to land the ship. It was between two buildings and gave the ship cover from any airborne Heartless.

Kikai looked over at Nora. She was holding Dot with her dear life as she looked with Kikai with wide eyes. Kikia gave her a thumbs up, "Don't worry, I got us here safely. Ride was a little bumpy but we made it!"

"Couldn't we have gone to another world where these creatures aren't attacking?" Nora asked as she unbuckled her seat belt. Dot barked happily in her arms.

"Well I don't really know of any other world. I never had a vehicle worthy enough of venturing more than one world away from Traverse Town. If I tried, my engine would overheat and I'd be stranded out in some unknown territory," He rubbed the back of his head.

"Someone here has to know the answer to these creatures. They aren't swarming as much as they were back home," Nora concluded. "Let's start searching."

"Right!" Kikai pulled out his grappling hook once more. He opened the cockpit of the ship and jumped out. Nora followed him close behind with Dot. The two ran down the twisty, cobblestone streets of Twilight Town. He shot his hook at a few ant-like creatures they saw back in Traverse Town, however, they only disappeared into a shadowy pile for a second. At least it was enough time for the two teenagers to keep running.

"Where's the weapon you were wielding before?" Norah said as they turned another corner. Kikai opened up his mouth to answer, however, no words came out.

He finally mustered up a "I don't know..." as the two reach the base of the clocktower. Up ahead, they see two people holding the same key-like weapon Kikai had before. A girl with bright pink hair was cowered besides one as he fought off a man in a black hood. The other was a woman with a bright blue dress fitted under medieval armor and tied her hair in a blond bun.

"We shouldn't get involved," Kikai muttered to Norah as he turned to head down the clock tower. However, a bolt of lightning strikes next to him, knocking him off his feet, "Owww!"

"Eh, more kids? Stay out of the way while I take care of this Org member!" the man said as the clashed his blade against the man in the black hood.

Marena and Izexita
”Is your blade still so cowardly, oh black-heart? Answer me this question, where is her lady Rapunzel?” Marena spoke, readying her blade as her steps moved in a zigzag to give her more of a swift movement to evade Izexita’s voice of thunder. Crossing blades, the clashing sounds echoed in the plaza.

”I will assure that she is safe in whatever location she is.” He spoke, putting a stronger force in his blade and pushing Marena back before continuing,  ”However, your endeavor to reach her will end you in the dirt, oh Knight.”

Marena exhaled, readying her keyblade again, words about to come from her lips until two strikes of thunder echoed off from the corner, and Izexita went defensive, letting out a melody from his lips to guard himself from the strike. He then spoke,  ”Interlopers… Hmm, that metal arm. Now what were orders again…”

Marena noted her allies as she went to attack Izexita while he was weakened. A good strike made him flinch back before he countered her strikes and he jumped back, smirking as he announced to Dex, Marena, and Rin, ”Oh one and all, I am remorse to not have a ballad ready to eliminate each of you. However, I doubt I can truly handle fighting two awakened to the Key. I shall keep my head then die with my pride over the others of my group.”

He smirked and looked at Marena exclusively, as with a snap of a finger, a rift between worlds formed, and he was gone.

So close, but now so far, Marena gritted her teeth as she turned her Keyblade and stabbed it into the ground. Her fist was clenched as she watched him take his leave. She took another breath to remove her anger, as she turned to those who came to her aide. A man with a metal arm and a young girl. Marena spoke, ”Hail, oh brave benefactors. For what reason did you interrupt my duel with the black hearted villain who has fled after all of my work to search for him?”

(Battle complete, Marena isn't truly ungrateful for their interuption, but he got away! Oh darn.)

Rin
The man looked at the girl clad in armor. "I've got my own business with the org, lass; but nonetheless, you seem quite skilled with the keyblade."

"I've been training for years. It's important I protect my princess," Marena said, looking at him with a harsh but stern gaze.

"No need to be hostile towards me, I'm on yer side; look, we've cleared out all the heartless here, for the most part," he beckoned toward Kikai and Norah. "Come over here, kiddos."

The two looked awkwardly at each other, not saying a word. The little puppy yipped, instantly jumping over towards Dex. The puppy started to sniff the ground and went over by the trash can. Norah whispered something in Kikai's ear that Rin couldn't hear, and they then come over to join the group.

"So are you all keyblade wielders?"

"Key-what now? Look, I wasn't expecting today to go like this. I'd rather be building a better engine on my gumi ship than fighting those weird things. Do you know what they are?" Kikai asked.

"Heartless," Dex said. "They come from the dark side. They're multiplying everywhere, and they're bad news. But the ones with the keyblades have to fight them, otherwise they will take over the all the worlds. Believe me, there's a whole galaxy out there other than yer own."

The kid tipped his head to the side. Rin blinked, coming out from behind a lamppost. "So...who's doing all this."

"The Organization," Dex breathed. "They're out there, and can be identified by their black clothing. It's best if you don't take them head on," he looks straight at Marena "because they're growing more and more powerful. I lost my arm to em' once."

"That's terrible!" Norah gasped.

"But I don't get it. Why is this darkness such a big deal?" Kikai asked.

"Because the darkness has the power to control everyone; I guess I'll tell ya kids what happened to some people I know."

"There once was a kid named Raiz. He was a good boy, and sometimes got into trouble with some of the locals, though. Overall, he was kind hearted and I was able to sense that his heart was in the right place of anyone I knew. I'd travel to different worlds, bring things back for em', and tell em' my stories. I wanted to encourage em' that there was a lot of different things out there to see and that he could be anything he wanted to.

Well, that was a mistake. I told him about my time as a keyblade master and what it was like to help others. I explained that it was a burden to bear, not a badge of honor; I explained how my time in the other worlds was mostly filled dealing with sorrow and the worst they had to offer. But that didn't stop Raiz from dreaming about the other worlds; he wanted to go. I encouraged em' to build a gummi ship, but instead of taking anyone experienced with em', he set off like that. I knew it was all because of his anguish at the death of his parents. He felt like leaving was the only way to set himself free and start over.

Then I met a lass named Elsa. I quickly picked up she was serious and distrusts people she doesn't know well. Well, the keyblade chose er', so I trained er' to the best of my ability. I told er' about the worlds and how it was er' duty to prepare to fight the darkness. She obliged, but I could tell her heart was oftentimes thinking of other things. She set off and became notorious for being a veteran keyblade master.

One day, I found em' in both together in one of the worlds. Raiz's heart had changed a lot, his pure hearted innocence gone. It was clear he was in despair because of his parents. Elsa's heart also had grown stronger, and I could tell she had some strong feelings for him. Well, we were attacked by heartless, and I had no choice but to use my keyblade to protect the two young un's. I only wanted him to hear me out. He also didn't understand why Elsa had a keyblade and he did not. He felt utterly betrayed and left in a rage.

The poor girl looked around for him aimlessly, but she was unable to find em'. Soon enough, she disappeared to, and the correlation that followed was no one was around to protect the worlds. It's been three dark years and I haven't seen them."

"Wow...that's quite the story, sir," Rin said, processing what the man had just said. She never imagined that there could be a dark side to the world when she lived a happy life on her island.

"Yes it is. It's important ye don't fall to the darkness as keyblade masters and keep your hearts strong. I'd be willing to train you guys, if you want."

Raiz
On the top of the clocktower, a swirling dark portal of purple and black opened amidst the golden rays of twilight. Out of it stepped Yaxar, an anguished man clad in metal. He walked to the edge of the clock tower, his singular red eye piercing down at the group below, who remained blissfully unaware of the monster above them. He spotted his target, Dex, the one who was currently monologuing in the spotlight. Dex was speaking of the darkness in Raiz's heart and how it had corrupted him. Yaxar knew this was a lie, the darkness in Raiz's heart had only made him stronger. Despair was a tool to be used, to be made into anger and unleashed upon your foes. If only he could remember what that felt like...

He shook his head and refocused on his task. He figured that no time was better than now to attack. Without hesitation, he dived off of the clocktower towards the ground below. As he fell he charged his Gravity magic within his hand. His fist and arm glowed with dark purple energy, pulsing with an energy bound to all worlds. As he landed, he slammed his fist into the ground and sent a shockwave towards the group. Without warning, the group was floating in the air, with Dex at the very end. Yaxar, jumped off, using each of the bodies of the floating keyblade wielders to bounce towards Dex. As he was in the air, metal claws sprouted from his fingers. He brought them down into Dex's chest, and used his magic to slam everyone into the ground. The claws dug into Dex's body like a knife through butter as they made impact. Dex gasped and sputtered as his body was sent searing with pain and his breath drew short.

Yaxar stood up and examined the others, who were battered and bruised from their fall but not otherwise hurt. They would be of no threat to the Organization's plans, he had no doubt of that. As he looking, his attention was cut off by a blast of pain, something he hadn't felt in a long time. Yaxar was sent flying, slamming into the ground a little ways away from the rest of the group. He looked down to see his body was scorched, and looked up to see his attacker. It was Raiz!

Raiz closed the dark portal behind him as he sprinted out of it, his short sword summoned to his hand in a glow of silvery moonlight. While he usually maintained a calm demeanor, at this moment he took on a more determined and aggressive stance.

Yaxar leaped back next to Dex and released a small drill from the palm of his hand and prepared to bring it striking down into Dex’s chest. Raiz reached him just in time, kicking Yaxar’s wrist with one leg and then sending another powerful kick into Yaxar’s chest. Yaxar was sent flying backwards, breaking off the bricked ground as his feet dug through with their immense weight. The other keyblade wielders began to pick themselves up as Raiz and Dex stood side by side, ready for combat.

“Good to see ya again kid. I was just startin’ to get worried.”

Raiz didn’t respond, but he gave Dex a small smirk. Dex finally summoned his keyblade, the very same one that had caught Raiz’s eye all those years ago.

Simultaneously, the three combatants rushed into combat. Like an intricate dance, the battle was barely discernible to the naked eye as all three put their speed and skill to the test. Raiz and Dex, though they hadn’t seen each other for years, fought as if they had been training with each other for their entire lives. It was nearly impossible to discern techniques or stances, they moved like fluid water against their metal foe.

To end the fight, Raiz kicked Yaxar’s ankle out from under him, followed by Dax batting Yaxar’s head. Raiz then summoned a pillar of moonlight from the ground, blasting Yaxar up into the air. Raiz summoned a dark portal just as Dex sent a powerful kick into Yaxar’s lower back, sending the cyborg cascading through the air and into the portal, which Raiz closed.

This all happened in the blink of an eye, the keyblade wielders had only just now picked themselves up. Raiz and Dex dispelled their weapons and turned to each other, giving one another a quick glance before embracing.

“I’ve been so worried about you boy! Where you been all this time?”

“I’ve been uh... busy. Trying to do my part in keeping the worlds safe from the rising darkness.”

“Well son, you I ain’t ever seen anyone fight quite like that before! We oughta get a keyblade in your hands don’t ya think?”

Raiz glowed with pride. He had waited for years to hear those words, even if the circumstances were... odd.

Dex turned back around to the other keyblade wielders, putting a shoulder around Raiz and bringing him over.

“This is Raiz, who I was tellin you all about. Here I was gettin all worried about him, but he seems right as rain to me. He’s like a son to me so y’all treat him good.”

One of the wielders inquired about the wound Yaxar gave him.

“Aw that’s nothin a little cure spell won’t fix. Here, lemme show y'all some magic. Cur-“

Dex choked on his words as he collapsed to his knees. Behind him stood Yaxar, whose heel had a blade protruding from it. Yaxar sheathed the blade back into his heel and disappeared in a dark portal, his mission now complete.

Dex collapsed completely onto the ground. While he hadn’t expected it, tears began to form in Raiz’s eyes. He grasped onto Dex’s hand as he lay on his back.

“These kids are gon’ save the worlds, Raiz.... Guide em where they need to go...”

Raiz felt the tears flow down his cheeks as he nodded in agreement.

“Proud.. of you... kid.”

Dex transformed into sparkling dust, and disappeared into the wind. Raiz wiped the tears from his face and stood up, facing the keyblade wielders who were unknowingly his enemy.

“I’m Raiz, and you all have a job to do.”

Marena

Marena watched the death of the man who spoke of who the Organization was, powerless to stop his death. In his place to give order was the boy who most likely turned to the darkness. She cared not for everything with this, but this organization is part of her enemy. The knight of Britain drew her keyblade as soon as she was able to as Raiz turned to the group. Her first words were, "And you expect that we should raise cup with the cause of a murderer? Redeemed or not to thou you once stabbed in the back?"

To her, it seemed that the boy before her slayed Dex, thus she rose her weapon and pointed it at him with fierce eyes. Her words speaking with true vitriol, "My only allegiance to these fellow bearers of the Key was in a common enemy of the fiend who has abducted the fair princess of my land. For what shall you ordain as a request to place trust into you after that display is to trust a touched elder with the seat of the throne."

It was simple to say no trust was given to Raiz by Marena, but in all truth, what did any of them have to trust him after outright murder before them. Why should this boy, to Marena, has slain his father before them all and claims to be right. His answer would determine if the Knight of the Round sheathes her blade and keep close eye, or for the ground to quake with another contest of blades in this courtyard of Twilight Town.

Kikai
Kikai picked himself off the ground, groaning. The impact had knocked the wind out of him and small stars swirled around his vision. He had grabbed Dot right as they were falling to make sure the little puppy wouldn't be hurt by blast of magic. Dot barked and licked his face while wagging his tail happily. He was trying to bring Kikai back to his senses. When Kikai adjusted to the light once again, he saw the man that wanted to help them on the ground, dead. A pool of blood was forming around him, the red liquid getting stuck in the cracks in the pavement. Shocked, Kikai paced a few steps back as the man dissipated into stardust, remnants of the blood evaporating with it.

A voice filled the void.

“I’m Raiz, and you all have a job to do.”

Kikai heard the man who once faced them say. He rubbed his eyes in confusion to make sure he wasn't dreaming. What in all of the darkness is going on here?! Kikai was puzzled, confused, and unable to formulate a proper sentence.

He noticed the girl with the blond bun stood her ground firmly in front of Raiz. Her eyes narrowed like a panther calculating her next move. Kikai decided to check on Nora to see how she was fairing after the fall they all took.

Nora was on the ground, like he was, with her eyes aglow with fear. Kikai held out his hand to help her up. Nora gingerly took it, her fingers wrapping around his. With a short tug, she was on her feet.

Kikai scanned the man, eyeing the dark cloak and hardened eyes.

"Why? Why should we trust you?" Kikai mustered up in saying, "We just lost our homes and you took out the light of the only visible hope. You were the one who sent those monsters, right? The one that destroyed Nora's and I's home?" Dot whimpered in his arms.

Norah
Breathing heavily from the adrenaline, Norah gratefully took Kikai's extended hand. Back on her feet, she straightened her jacket. She watched the newest individual approach, claiming they have a job.

Ooo, this is too much to take in all at once. Norah thought, rubbing her temples, trying to process the fight she halfway witnessed, halfway dreamed.

"Why? Why should we trust you?" Norah heard Kikai say, before further asking questions.

The cloaked man stepped a bit closer, taking off his hood.

"You all are keyblade wielders. Thus, it is up to you to fulfill your duty." The warrior responded, avoiding the question.

"Okay but what does that mean? And what about that man who just died?" Kikai said, throwing his arm about before dropping it into a closed fist, much to Dot's dismay in his other arm.

Why is Kikai acting so weird? He's never been this rattled...emotional.... Thought Norah, utterly confused.

She then notices Kikai pressing a button in his pocket for a moment before asking more questions.

"...And who are you anyway?! Are you really the guy that old man was talking about?"

Raiz sighed.

"Yes, Dex was correct. I really am-"

"RAIZ!"

A large gust of wind with a lyrical undertone strikes the ground around them.

Norah looked to her side to spot the young woman wearing a short black trenchcoat, nylons, and black boots. The woman's long, straight, white hair blew in the wind showing her fierce indigo eyes.

"Why are you talking to these people?" The woman asked, changing to a readied stance with what looked like a conductor's baton.

Raiz ignored her. Simply countered her attack one after the other.

"Tell me!" the woman demanded.

"You weren't supposed to interfere, Ixlenea!" Raiz yelled, still slicing through the attacks.

Ixlenea back flipped further away before readying another attack.

"Yea? You're the one going back on your word!" Ixelnea yelled, sending another attack.

More raging wind encircles the area. Norah did her best to nimbly dance around the sporadic splashes of magic flinging in her direction. By this point, she and Kikai got separated from the other two women due to the splash zone. She tried following the battle. He swiped, she dodged. She expels wind, and he counters. The two warriors reacted to each other in such ungodly synchronization it was such a different dance of death.

With the blows, the Norah picked up that the wind wasn't just wind, but sound, an orchestrated windstorm. It certainly was a deadly concert, but it had such rhythm.

"Wow!" Norah exclaims, grasping her hands. "Is that an aria? It's so...coloratura!"

"Hey Norah, watch Dot for a sec'." Kikai says as he tosses the miniature dalmatian into her arms.

"Um..okay? But what are...?" Norah tried asking but Kikai was already maneuvering around the fight of the two draped in black. She watched him cautiously gain some distance heading towards the other bystanders.

Another musical gust expands onto the battle outskirts, this time knocking the speculators off their feet. A building lost structure and came down. Dot yelped in fear as Norah watched Kikai nearly got crushed by falling bricks. Kikai gave Norah a thumbs up, but his pathway was blocked. Norah watches Kikai as he makes his way back to her.

"Change of plans." Kikai said as he came up to her.

"But what about the other two girls? Aren't we-"

"There's no time!"

Kikai quickly grabs Norah around the waist before firing his grappling hook up towards the sky. Dot barks in Norah's arms as the they are lifted up and Kikai secures them onto a rooftop.

"Wait, what about-" Norah tries asking before Kikai yanks her behind her.

"Come on!" Kikai hurries them.

He then haves them run across the rooftop towards the side.

"Jump!"

Leaping, the two land in Kikai's gummi ship, hovering in wait for them to arrive.

Once inside, Kikai turned off the autopilot and took control of the wheel. Meanwhile, Norah trips over Dot as she closes the hatch before heading back up to the bridge.

The gummi ship shook a bit from an aftershock hitting. Luckily Kikai was amazing at steering, avoiding hitting Twilight Town's clock tower as they lifted off.

Norah watched from the window, scanning the ground below. The fight still ensuing, the two warriors dancing around the pavement, leaving a trail of damaged stone and brick as they moved.

She finally spotted the swordswoman and the young girl fleeing down some alleys away from the destruction. Norah sighed in relief as they left the world of eternal dusk.

Now safe with time to process the last few events, Norah turned her attention to Kikai, blood raging.

"What in Mickey's good name did you do back there?!" Norah shouted. "We could have gotten some answers back there! I mean, we were getting some already before we got knocked down to the ground. But there weren't any 'heartless' or whatever those monsters are. We had time. Well we would have if that assassin didn't show up. The man had more to say. That composer girl interrupting that younger man is another issue. What are we even going to do now? We don't know anything!"

Norah expelled loud vocals in frustration.

"Also, should we really have left back there?" Norah questioned, motioning behind her. "Those other two looked lost, just like us. Okay, the one seemed fine, but I'm worried about that other girl. She looked not much younger than us. She can't survive out there! I mean-"

Kikai takes one hand off the wheel to grab her arm.

"Hey... Hey! ... Relax okay?" Kikai said.

Norah froze up for a second, quiet. She then gestured a calming motion while taking a few deep breaths.

"Okay." She said finally.

"Good." He said before returning his attention back to driving the ship.

"Now, I can't answer all those questions, but I can at least catch you up on my thoughts that weren't just instincts."

Norah nodded patiently, sitting back down. Dot curled up on the floor nearby, yawning.

"I don't know who of those people we could have trusted. The man seemed like we could have, but he never actually answered any of my questions. And then he got the worse end of the stick. So our best bet is trying the next world. I didn't want to leave those other two behind, but there was no way we could have gotten to them while that Raiz character and the chick were fighting it out. We don't have any answers, but I will try to find us some."

Kikai sighed himself, glancing at her before turning ahead again.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, this world's atmosphere apparently features that thing called 'sunlight'."

"Sunlight? It's not a myth?" Norah questioned as she redirected her attention outside finally.

Kikai simply snickered.

And sunlight it did showcase.

[ENTERING THE NEW WORLD] #noodleswithdragons

This odd form of lighting, with immense amounts of color, and a bright sky. As they broke deeper into the atmosphere, more and more colors popped along the ground. Most of them were rich greens of plants, but plenty of other colors appeared along the buildings and mountains beyond the immediate landscape. Behind them, the sky stayed a bold blue color, definitely highly saturated, but in a single color, unlike the array of warm hues from Twilight Town.

Fear and worry melted away, as no immediate signs of an invasion were visible. Norah grew excited to explore this bright world, so she did not mind Kikai landing the gummi ship securely on a mountain ledge within a bamboo grove.

Yen Sid
Yen Sid gingerly touched his whiskers as he approached the ancient shrine of the Chinese ancestors. He glanced at the base where the remains of the Stone Dragon lied. It wasn't more than a pile of pebbles thanks to a certain, other dragon. Sighing, he walked up the crumbling steps and entered he shrine with a gentle bow to show his respects. Lifting his head, he called out in the dark room of Chinese remains and memoirs.

"Mushu, are you in here?" He called out.

"Eh? Who is this funny whiskered man here calling out my name? I ain't no Great Stone Dragon you know!" A small, lizard sized red dragon slinks out from one of the pots in the corner of the room. He scurried over to Yen Sid's feet and looked up at him.

"The Great Stone Dragon's time has passed. Mushu, now is your time to shine. I felt an imbalance in the Light and Darkness that lies within every World," Yen Sid calmly replied. "I fear I may not be able to correct this imbalance alone."

"Just hold on one moment. My job is to help Mulan...and ONLY Mulan. You are lucky I just scurried back here to grab something for that lucky cricket," Mushu crossed his arms and tapped his foot annoyed.

"You aren't the only one I sought out for help. Rafiki, Mama Odie, Tanana, and others have already pledged their help to my cause. My power has slowly been diminishing from my world, Fantasia, succumbing to the darkness."

"So what? I'm your Plan B? What do you want me to do? Train some more rookies like Mulan who don't know a swing from a slash?"

"Actually, exactly on point! The Darkness has grown passed to overcome the Light, thus the Light has sent out a few new "sparks" to combat this new Darkness. I need you to train these new Light sparks if they happen to come to this World," Yen Sid said.

"This sounds like one in a million world chance," Mushu calculated the odds on his tiny claws, "But since Mulan's ancestors will yell at me to help you, I guess I can give you my word."

"I knew I could count on you, Mushu," Yen Sid smiled as he replied, "You understand the powers of the Keyblade like all the guardians I trust in the Worlds. Now I have to be off to the next world. Take care of Mulan for me, Mushu. She has the potential to become a Princess of Heart if one of others falls."

"Yeah, yeah, we are more in the middle of trying to defeat the Hunny-buns. She isn't going to be your cookie cutter princess anytime soon," Mushu quipped back.

Kikai
Kikai opened the hatch to the Gummi Ship to let the sunlight creep into the Gummi Ship. He checked the dials on his screen as Nora happily ran outside humming a tune. "My fuel levels are getting a little low. Maybe I can supplement something I find in this world," he muttered to himself. Dot barked and pawed at his legs, begging him to join Nora outside.

He scratched the Dalmatian puppy behind his ear and left the Gummi Ship. He closed the hatch shut behind him and clicked a button on his remote to lock the door in place. He then turned around and looked at the sky with a hand on his eyebrows to block out some of the sunlight.

He had never seen sunlight before in his life. As a child, he had read of many stories of how the sun brightly shown over the blue sky with puffy white clouds. Living in Traverse Town and visiting Twilight Town on occasion only gave him a small taste of the true power of the sun. He smiled for a moment and let go of the past events that cluttered his mind. The light...it's so bright here. No "Darkness" to be seen for any miles.

"Kikai look!" Nora happily shouted.

He looked down at the direction he was pointing. Just visible through the bamboo was a troop of soldiers traveling. They looked a lot like cattle from how they rhythmically bounced to the beat of their commander. This was their chance and a way to finally gather some of the answers to the many unanswered questions.

"The army may know more about this "Darkness" than those people in Twilight Town," Kikai concluded, "Let's approach them...nice and slowly, though. We have to make sure we don't become their enemy."

"Good idea, Kikai! I was thinking the same thing too," Nora replied. Dot ran up to her with his tail wagging happily. She scooped him up in her arms and nodded to Kikai.

Kikai took the lead in front of Nora. He had a hand on his grappling hook just in case. He pushed two bamboo shoots to the sides and cursed with a part of his red poncho got caught on the firm strands. Nora amusingly helped free his poncho and headed to approach the army.

"Excuse me!" Kikai shouted, "Can I talk to the commander of this regiment for a moment?"

All eyes turned on him. The soldiers stared at him soullessly with glowing yellow eyes that eerily judged you. Kikai felt a chill run down his spin as he noticed the lack of color in their bodies. As they opened their mouths to presumably say something to Kikai puffs of dark smoke whisked out and lingered at their feet. A simply design was embroidered on their shirts, a heart that is crisscrossed with thorns.

"Uh, Nora," Kikai lowered his voice, "I don't think we are getting any answers anytime soon."

Dot whimpered in her arms and nuzzled against her chest. The soldiers took out their blades that were coated in a seeping blackness that dripped onto the ground before spreading. As it touched the bamboo, the shoots turned blacked and wilted on sight.

"Kikai, run," Nora sounded scared. The two kids bolted back the way they came and searched for the safety of Kikai's Gummi Ship. However, the bamboo was too thick to see the ship any longer. Panic started to fill Kikai once more.

"What are you kids doing out here?!" a smooth voice called out to them. Kikai whipped his head around and gazed out in all directions. Puzzled, he was about to ask Nora something when he heard, "I'm down here, you apple red fool."

Looking down, he saw what appeared to be a red lizard talking to him. He wasn't bigger than Kikai's arm in length and had small blue horns jutting from his head. However, the lizard had his arms crossed and his brow furrowed as he gazed back up at the boy.

"Look, if you want to begin this journey of yours on the right foot, you better take your first steps with me!" The lizard yelled at them.

"Will we finally get answers?" Kikai asked. He bent his knees slightly to get a better look at the lizard.

"On my honor as a dragon, I can tell you what I know about those Huns over there...as they clearly aren't the ones Mulan was drafted to fight!" the lizard raised his voice.

Kikai looked at Nora for a moment. She shrugged and looked back at the lizard. We have no choice but to follow as this pipsqueak might know what in King Mickey's good name is going on here. He was about to reply to the lizard when a black arrow lodges itself a few feet away from Nora's feet. Startled, she jumped straight into Kikai causing him to almost lose his balance.

"Hey, keep your princess a little closer before she gets hurt now!" the lizard sneered at Kikai. He then continued, "Look kids, we have no time to flee. We will have to try to fight them off." Without waiting for a replied, he scurried up Kikai's leg and perched himself on his shoulder.

"My name is Mushu, I know, poor timing, but you need to take out ol' Keyblade of yours to do any sort of harms to these Hunny-buns," Mushu pointed at Kikai's right hand.

"A Key-what?" Kikai said once more.

"A Keyblade. B-L-A-D-E. You know, a key that is as large as a sword. This isn't firework science. You're a bright boy, aren't you?" Mushu quipped.

"Hey, don't yell at me. I just lost my home and watched someone die before my eyes. I've had more than a rough morning!" Kikai glared at Mushu.

Nora moved behind Kikai, keeping her distance from the approaching Huns. She tightly held Dot closer to her, protecting him. Kikai almost wanted to tell her to get back to the ship, however, the Hun probably had them surrounded. He wanted to keep Nora in a place where he could see her.

"Look, I don't get paid enough to do this. Keyblades are weapons called upon from the Light that resides inside of you. You need to channel that Light to bring your Keyblade into existence. Think about unicorns or rainbows or something!" Mushu poorly explained.

"My Light?" Kikai looked at to see that the Huns had breached the nearby bamboo shoots. He reached for the safety of his grappling hook at first but then dropped his arm. No, I can do this. I have to. If not, then Nora and I won't live to ever see another starlit night in Traverse Town. He lifted his left hand as the black, geared Keyblade reappears in his hand. Kikai tightly grips it and lunges himself at the nearby Hun.

The Hun disappeared into stardust upon impact. "Yeah! That's it kiddo! Now just do that again like fifty more times," Mushu's voice was full of eagerness.

"What's with these....creatures? They look human enough to me," Kikai asked as he continued to slash at each Hun that was approaching. He was doing a good job of taking care of the waves, however, he noticed their numbers were slowly increasing.

"Well, 'ol Master Yen Sid said something about the Darkness trying new tactics...they seem to be overpowering the hearts of the Huns and using their bodies as puppets in their games. Look I can explain more once we aren't playing jeopardy with our lives," Mushu replied.

"Kid, look out for your princess!"

Kikai looked directly at Nora. She was surrounded by four Huns who were closing in on her. "Kikai, help!" Nora screamed. Dot took his small front paws and tried to swipe at the Huns with his tiny claws, however, he didn't leave more than a scratch on their black armor.

"Princess, you gotta be less of a damsel in distress!" Mushu jumped off of Kikai and scurried between two Huns. He then ran up Nora's leg and lodged himself on her shoulder, "All right, I got a fire in my belly now!"

Kikai was about to help her when more Huns pulled his attention away and created a wall between him and Nora. Two attacked him at once and he held out his Keyblade vertically to block both of their attacks."No, Nora!" Kikai cried out to her as he became overwhelmed.
